Yates Johnson, of New Braunfels, Texas, joined the APP Tour in 2022 and has emerged as one of the sport’s top men’s pros. Johnson played Division I tennis at Southern Methodist University, where he and his twin brother Hunter became the winningest doubles team in school history. Johnson also played professional tennis alongside his twin brother Hunter on the ATP Tour, where the duo won 14 doubles titles together (13 ITF Futures and one ITF Challenger). Johnson transitioned to professional pickleball in 2022, and enjoys golfing, wakeboarding, and traveling in his spare time.
