Andrei Daescu, originally from Bucharest, Romania, has cemented himself as one of the top men's pros in all of pickleball, winning numerous gold medals. After moving to America with a tennis scholarship to the University of Oklahoma, Daescu enjoyed a five-year professional tennis career in Europe. Daescu began his pickleball career in 2017 and joined the APP in 2019, where he quickly rose the ranks as a fan favorite. When he's not playing APP tournaments, Daescu is the Head Touring Pro for Racquet Sports at BallenIsles Country Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
