Obviously, APP has grown quite a bit from its early stages, and they're a really well-established entity with great people who work for this company. And I really enjoy being part of the tour. I really enjoy going to different destinations around the country with them, and I really hope that one day we'll be able to go overseas.

I feel like it's very lighthearted when we're all here at tournaments. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming, and really, it's just all about getting out there and playing pickleball and having some fun. And I think APP is perfect for that.

The one word that comes to mind thinking about APP would be community … Even players, I think we really like to support each other and see each other succeed, with a little bit of competitive aspect in there. Ultimately, it's pickleball, it's fun I think we all just try to enjoy ourselves.

I think they show real commitment and belief in the players that maybe aren't on the front pages of every single high-level tournament. They're not winning the gold medals, but they still see the potential of people like me and the amazing other players that are trying to make their way into the big pro leagues. And I think that's what people like me need — they need that person who says, “I still believe in you. I have faith in you. I can see you … that's what you need to have that level of support to keep fueling that drive for your pickleball dream.

APP is inclusive. I think that's because they really try to do a great job of making all the players, the pro players and the amateurs, feel welcome and they really want to treat everybody though they deserve to be here.
