The APP announced today an update to its 2023 APP Tour schedule, introducing its first-ever APP U.S. Indoor Championships, held November 29 through December 3 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.
Player registration for the 2023 APP U.S. Indoor Championships is now open on PickleballBrackets.com. Amateurs of all ages and skill levels will compete alongside the sport’s elite professionals in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles events.
The 2023 APP U.S. Indoor Championships will take place at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill. and be the first and only indoor event on the 2023 APP Tour. The event marks the APP’s return to its hometown as the second APP Tour event held in the Chicago metro area this season – joining the recently-completed 2023 APP Chicago Open. The venue will feature competition on Pickleball United’s signature True Courts and a centerpiece Championship Court.
“We’re thrilled to bring another APP Tour event to our hometown of Chicago in 2023 with our first-ever APP U.S. Indoor Championships,” commented APP Founder Ken Herrmann. “This is an exciting new event for us, one we will continue to develop and grow over the coming years. The ever-increasing demand from pickleball players across Illinois and the Midwest has been remarkable, and we can’t wait to host another packed house in Chicago.”
This event also marks the final stop of AARP Masters Division action on the 2023 APP Tour for pros aged 60 and above.
Attendees can participate in holiday season activities while in Rosemont including ice skating at Parkway Bank Park, festive lights at Impact Field, and lively entertainment at Allstate Arena and the Rosemont Theatre. Click here to learn more.
