The Association of Pickleball Players (APP) has announced an extension of its partnership with Pickleball United, now the Official Court Provider of the APP Next Gen platform.

Pickleball United - a world leader and innovator in pickleball Infrastructure equipment - joined forces with the APP in November 2022 when they became the Official Court Provider of the APP Tour – the APP’s 16-stop tour for elite professionals, senior professionals and amateurs. Pickleball United’s True Courts have provided high-performance playing surfaces at several APP events, including The Boca Raton 2023 APP New York City Open held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Now, that partnership extends to the APP’s flagship platform for youth development, APP Next Gen.

The APP launched its APP Next Gen Series in 2021, featuring prize-money tournaments with educational seminars to help mentor all participants interested in pursuing a career in professional pickleball. Primarily for players aged 16-23, the APP Next Gen Series is dedicated to developing America’s next generation of pickleball champions through skill development, mentorship, and financial support. The APP recently announced its 2023 APP Next Gen National Team, made up of twelve of the nation’s top aspiring pickleball professionals.

The 2023 APP Next Gen Series has held two events thus far – one in San Antonio, February 17-19, and one in Kansas City, July 7-9. The APP’s final Next Gen Series event in 2023 will be in Dallas, November 17-19.
